Hey there,

I'd really appreciate if someone could take a screenshot of the zoomed out map of 100% Elona (and upload it as bmp somewhere). The uploaded files are not reachable any longer

to any "Elonian grandmaster cartographer": just open the Map, zoom out and take a screenshot with "Shift"+"Print" (to hide the outposts).

preferably in 1920x1200

Alright... So could anyone point me in the direction for the route for the Dynastic Tombs fiasco - you get on the worm. How do you get out of the boxed in area though? I am missing how to "Get down" so I can get to each corner. Do I have to trigger something to get it to open so I can pass through? Or am I just missing this completely? I understand it adds to Carto - and I want it soooo bad.

Any help would be appreciated ty!

You have to earn points to open the gates out of the starting area. A gate opens every 15 points you earn, so 60 points unlocks the entire area.

hi guys~

so i have a problem im trying to uncover the starting island of elona and then eventually the whole continent im working towards the HoM points but i got stuck.. can anyone tell me which route to take to uncover these two gray patches? best would be to draw on it with paint and post it here so i can follow it~ thanks guys^^

your texmod seems broken/glitched, have you checked your title and seen if you have gotten the %? .

On the picture we see path's that has been walked on, if those are from you, you should have gotten quite some %

the dotted lines are indeed my path and i uncovered it all, except the few gray spots that you can see otherwise there would be more gray areas and so far i have 10% i think.. or about close to 10% so are you saying this gray patch is showing up as a graphical glitch and should actually be cleared? if it is a glitch what can i do to fix it^^? i use Umod btw i used texmod before but Umod saves all my mods without me having to load them every single time i start guildwars so its convenient for me

EDIT: i restarted the client and i checked the map and they are still there..(the gray unexplored patches)
i am certain theres a way to get to them either by scraping or a path but by looking at the map i just cannot see it.. every route seems blocked off by something.. =/ please help me i dont want to miss out on the %

I wouldn't worry about one small spot like that if you can't get to it. All the campaigns allow anywhere from .19% to 1.4% leeway if you just go around scraping the normal way.

If you're referring to the bits between Cliffs of Dohjok and Zehlon Reach, I know that the bit on the right is obtainable in Cliffs. Just scrape upwards starting from Champion's Dawn. Take it slow since it's easy to miss. Really though, as other people have said, tiny bits like these aren't worth worrying about unless you've mapped the whole continent and are short of 100%.

PS: It would have been really great if you turned off the texture that adds mission guides to your map. It's massively confusing having a bunch of trails marked out.

Hey guys

I am having some problems, see I have been doing carto for elona and I have reached 99.3%. I am using carto made easy through texmod and there is one area near pogahn passage which i cant reach.

It says to watch the cutscene as party leader, and on wiki it suggests I move my character in the last cut scene but for some reason it still wont work. How can i get it?

I can't get in-game to check but I'm entirely sure I've never mapped that area. From memory my TexMod has a big black patch over that entire area. I'd forget about it as you should have meaningfully large areas available elsewhere.

PS: For the record, my TexMod doesn't have that sharp corner above Camp Hojanu either.

EDIT: Yeah, now that I've checked, I can say that massive area is unmappable. Don't know why it would be marked like that. Conflicting textures perhaps. The 'this circle is uncovered...' bit refers to a little chunk where your mission guide says 'Passage' twice.

My copy is working just fine. It looks like you may have a conflict with the mission map mod you are using. Carto mod by itself has the black section on it.

Not sure if anyone checks this thread much anymore, but if someone could help me with these few areas around Blacktide Den that would be great.

I swear I've rubbed up on everything like a cat in heat and can't uncover these few areas. Any tricks? Thanks!
